Hoover, Ala.-Day 21 of the 30 day photography challenge theme is micro (up close). The house was strangely quiet this afternoon. When I went into my son’s room, I figured out why. Woo hoo, he took a nap today!!!! I had to record this moment in history. hahaha

Birmingham, Ala.-Today is day 20 of the 30 day photography challenge and the theme is water. It was a scorcher today, so we had a great time cooling off in a water balloon fight. This photography challenge has been a nice distraction from the daily stresses of moving. It’s nice to just step away from the packing and planning to be creative. Since we’ve found out we were moving, I haven’t been able to take on any new business. I’m looking forward to getting settled in in Birmingham, Ala., so I can get back to normal life. I miss getting to work such amazing children and families! I am starting to book sessions for July in Ala., so if you’re interested, give me a call or shoot me an email.

Birmingham, Ala.-Day 19 of the 30 day photography challenge theme is summertime. It’s also Father’s Day so we wanted to incorporate something that we could do as a whole family. We all know that baseball is America’s favorite pastime, and it’s the epitome of Summer fun. So sing along with me: Take me out to the ball game. Take me out with the crowd. Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jacks, I don’t care if I never get back. For let’s root, root, root for the home team. If they don’t win it’s a shame. For it’s 1, 2, 3 strikes, you’re out. At the old ball game!

Birmingham, Ala.-Today is day 18 of the 30 day photography challenge, and the theme is eyes. We were having dinner with some friends this evening, and our kids decided to have a little date night. As we all know, women love to get all dolled up for a night out, and that begins with putting some make up on. For their date, they enjoyed a beautiful sunset as they took a spin around the block.

Birmingham, Ala.-Today is day 17 of the 30 day photography challenge and the theme is bokeh. We didn’t let a little rain shower stop us from our daily photo sessions. Jackson is a trooper, and LOVED playing in the rain. He was jumping in puddles, catching rain drops on his tongue, and by the end, he was shoeless jumping in the puddles.

Birmingham, Ala.-Day 16 of the 30 day photography challenge is mason jars. I had already packed up all my mason jars for the move, so I ran out and bought a couple for today’s theme. I made some lemonade for the kiddos to sip while they hung out in the backyard this hot afternoon. :)
